Personal Shield Activity
The personal shield activity is a great way for participants to identify positive qualities about themselves -especially those that make them a strong individual.
The shield can be blank, and filled in with positive coping skills that can "fight off" negative emotions (anger, anxiety, depression etc). Coloring and designing the shield adds a sense of personality, allowing for the participant to depict their individuality. Filling the sections with questions, (as seen here) can also promote sharing and self expression for a group setting.
